Many families aspire to sometime own a single family residence that will be inspiring, open and comfortable. The Laidley House is a very good example of a dream house, with its open space and bright interiors. Having over 3,000 square feet, the residence features three bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. Panoramas of San Francisco, Bay Bridge and the bay open up from the large windows in the bedroom. The three storey dwelling is home for Jim Zack and Lise de Vito, two architects that aside from sharing a life, they share a business, Zack de Vito Architecture. They kept this construction all in the family, because the actual construction of the house was also done by one of their firms. Contemporary and imposing, the residence thrones over an impressive city, like a fortress of privacy in a hectic world. Take a look at the pictures below and try to figure out what is missing for each of you, if this were your own home and then share it with us!
